Fellow member
A person shall be admitted as a Fellow Member of the Actuarial Society of Zambia if:
- He/she is a fully qualified Fellow actuary of a recognized actuarial profession body which is a full member of the International Actuarial Association (IAA);
- His/her application is approved by the Council.
- Membership Fee: K800
Associate member
A person shall be admitted as an Associate Member of the Actuarial Society of Zambia if:
- He/she is a qualified Associate actuary of a recognized actuarial profession body which is a full member of the International Actuarial Association (IAA); and
- His/her application is approved by the Council.
- Membership Fee: K700
Non-working Student member
A person shall be admitted as a non-working class student member if:
- He/ she is currently pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science or a degree in a related field to actuarial science; or
- He/ she is currently unemployed but pursuing the actuarial professional exams with a recognized professional body; and
- His/her application is approved by the council.
- Membership Fee: K130
Working Student member
A person shall be admitted as a working class student member if:
- He/ she is currently employed and is pursuing the actuarial professional exams with a recognized professional body; and
- His/her application is approved by the council.
- Membership Fee: K450
Affiliate member
Comprising persons, university academics, organizations or other professional organizations who have a substantial interest in the actuarial profession.
Membership Fee: K700
Library member
Comprising persons who have a serious and substantial interest in the actuarial profession, but are not eligible for membership in another class.
Membership Fee: K450
A K50.00 once-off joining fee will be applicable and added to applicable above membership fee for first time joiners.
